In Connecticut, people in certain professions (i.e., clergy) are required by law to report suspected abuse and neglect when they function in their professional role. The following applies to everyone, whether or not they are mandated to report. However, If you have reason to suspect abuse occurred or that there is risk abuse may occur, you can contact the appropriate state agency. You do not have to know for sure that abuse occurred.

As you know, our Church is blessed with many children and youth. For that reason, we have identified specific groups to take the mandated reporter training to ensure the safety of our most vulnerable population. You are required to complete this training. Please follow these steps:
